VCam Camera Terms of Service

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on your own devices in accordance with these Terms.

All rights in the App and in the styles, poses, motions, accessories, and other materials bundled with or delivered through it belong to us or their rightful owners.

If you obtained the App from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies and prevails over these Terms in the event of a conflict.

The App's basic features are free. VCam Camera Pro adds further features and is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time purchase. Prices and free trial conditions are shown on the purchase screen.

Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and that store's terms apply. Refunds are handled according to that store's rules.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. To cancel, use the subscription management screen of your store; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. After canceling, you can keep using Pro features until the end of the current period, after which the App returns to its free features.

All rights in the avatars, images, videos, motions, accessories, and other content you load into the App, and in the photos, videos, and GIFs you capture with it, remain with you or their original owners. We do not acquire any rights in them.

You are responsible for securing the rights and permissions needed to load, capture, and publish your content. When using avatars or other materials, check their terms of use.

The App's data is stored mainly on your device, so it may be lost if you delete the App or if your device fails.

The App may connect or link to third-party services and external sites such as VRoid Hub, and may offer sample avatars created by third parties. These are subject to the terms and conditions set by their respective providers.

When using the App, you must not do any of the following. If you violate these rules, we may suspend your use of the App or take other necessary measures.

• Violate any law or public order and morals
• Infringe the copyright, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of others
• Impersonate, deceive, or defame others
• Create footage resembling a real person without their consent in order to deceive others or harm anyone's rights or reputation
• Extract, copy, redistribute, or sell the App or the materials bundled with or delivered through it
• Reverse engineer or modify the App, except where permitted by law
• Use the App, the materials bundled with or delivered through it, or data reproduced or extracted from them to train or tune AI or machine learning models
• Analyze the App or collect its output in order to develop the same kind of or similar products or materials
• Operate the App or collect its data by automated means such as bots or scripts
• Circumvent purchases or feature restrictions
• Interfere with the provision of the App

Tracking runs only on your device, and camera footage is never sent outside it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

We may change the App, or suspend or discontinue its provision.

The App is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will work on every device or in every environment, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.

Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability in connection with the App is limited to direct damages that would ordinarily arise, up to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the date the damage occurred.

These Terms do not limit any consumer rights granted by the laws of the place where you live.

We may change these Terms as needed. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. By using the App after they are posted, you agree to the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Unless the law provides otherwise, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to these Terms.

If a translation of these Terms differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails unless the law provides otherwise.
